Spelling practice is not limited to the homework assignments listed in the month menu. Listed below are additional activities your child can do to practice the spelling words:
Rainbow Write: Trace over each spelling word in 7 colors
Word Search: Create a word search on puzzlemaker.com and then find your words
Font-abulous Words: Type the words on the computer 5 times each using different fonts
Ransom Words: Cut out letters from a magazine and glue the words on paper
Clay Snakes: Make snakes out of clay or play-dough and build each word
Silly Story: Write a silly story using all of the week's spelling words
Pyramid Words: Spell each word one starting with the first letter and adding the next letter on each line.
